Saxophone Ensemble

This is the newest ensemble to join the UMS. It was set up in 2008 to cater for the many saxophone players within the University that previously had nowhere to play their instrument. The ensemble was instantly very popular and continues to go from strength to strength.

The Saxophone Ensemble consists of around 30 players on 5 different types of saxophone and welcomes people of all ages and abilities. The ensemble will give at least 2 concerts per year of a wide musical output, ranging from classical to jazz.
